The 2020/2021 harvest

Coffee Market open to new investors

It is interesting to note that our unique purpose is to demonstrate statistically how much Brazil remains a promising and open market for those who want to participate in this “privileged” “commodity”, but always demanding to those who participate in it.
The coffee market is free and open to anyone who wants to participate in it, but, regardless of the financial factor, it requires “that something more” that only a long professional experience can offer. It is not a place for adventurers. It requires knowledge and prudence.

In recent years, prices have contributed to a certain extent for producers to settle largely their old financing to the national banking network and invest in their crops, leading them to a healthy enough renewal to respond both to the foreign market and to Brazilian domestic consumption.

Harvest 2020/2021

As has always been the case, different sources bring dubious numbers when it comes to estimates of coffee crops in Brazil.
It is not for us to doubt this or that source, however, our long experience always leads us to an average result that allows us to be much more assertive.

We have a preview that indicates that we will have a 2020/2021 harvest of 70 million bags following the current statistics and we should export again, an average of 40 million bags.
According to ABIC, our internal consumption is expected to exceed 21 million bags, so we should still have a positive balance of 9 million, a carry over existing in the domestic market remaining from past harvests.

Mu conclusion is that in these last few years, Brazilian coffee market has been increasingly consolidating its quality due to the good results obtained financially.

The challenge is ahead of us.

We need to have the tools and sufficient competence to take advantage of this always competitive and innovative market.
